Course Description: Personal problems of counselors often stemming from unresolved issues from childhood that drive them to help others for all the wrong reasons can and do interfere with patient care and efficient operation of treatment programs. In an effort to recover, some segments of the codependence field have developed in isolation from established psychological and family therapy.
